IndyHall Labs. Take One. Action.

We’ve been buzzing around some new ideas here at IndyHall. The lead developer on RipIt, Jason Allum, and I have been talking about how to take the team building exercise that produced RipIt and use that kind of organic collaboration to work towards some new goals.

This week, Jason and Dave Martorana (that’s right, senior MultiFirefox himself) have begun on a new project, a now unnamed companion to Ripit. Watch them and listen as the explain what they’re up to, and why:

This model isn’t anything secretive. The reality is, we’re building it as we go. We’ve got some exciting ideas about how we’d like things to play out, though, and hope you join us along for the ride.

Starting today, we’re going to post daily videos, diaries, and screenshots of the project in progress as Dave assembles the team and works towards the finish line!

Our simplest hope is that this process is exciting for everyone: the team and the “fans” of the project, to encourage more amazing collaborative productions to join the ranks of iSepta, RipIt, and the Two Guys On Beer video podcast.

Remember that badass launch party we had last month? We’d love to celebrate like that EVERY month.

Think Y-Combinator, for indies. And fast. Way fast. That’s how we roll over here at IndyHall. Are you along for the ride?
