First Videos of Multiplex
Did we mention it’s called “Multiplex” yet? It is. But that’s not the hotness. The video below, showing the library and our insta-filtering, that’s the hotness. But it is just the tip of the iceberg. This thing has a rock-solid code base and the engine is all but a beautiful piece of art.
Just to make sure we’re sharing the “beauty”, however, we’re making the UI (User Interface) something to behold as well. Check out the video - it’s all real, live data, no fakery!

That looks really nice. Is it primarily for video libraries? I imagine it could really be for anything–books, video, trading cards, what have you. It will probably be incorporated into ebay someday.
Very nice.

Wow, just wow gentlemen. As if RipIt didn’t already rock, throwing Multiplex at it and now you have one freakin awesome application!

Thanks everybody! We’re already way ahead of where the video is, so some more UI happiness is on its way!
@Seth Nenstiel, yes, it’s for movies at this point in time - mostly ripped movies that exist on your computer, external hard drive, and what have you. However, eBay can buy it for several million bones if they like.
@Kevin Fitzpatrick - Yes, Cocoa is a REALLY nice environment to be writing this software in. 3D accelerated fun all around!

It looks very cool, but I hope there will be multiple views (i.e. if I just want to see my library as a plain, boring old list I can).

Inspiring stuff guys, I’m very impressed. Besides being eminently useful, this UI should be great buzz candy for you.

Kudos… that’s really slick… searching in media like this is clutch especially as storage and access is as plentiful as it is!

Looks good!
